This is a quick progress update to show the quality of the prints I am getting.

This is a redesigned part, the side plate. The redesign involves eliminating the nut plate by putting the nut traps in this part.

It is designed for 6-32 nuts. The hex holes are just slightly undersize so the nut will press in and stay there.

This shows the layer height. I am printing 3mm PLA through a .5mm nozzle. The layer height is .4MM. About .016"

This is the side that was against the build platform. The first layer is somewhat mashed into the platform to assure good adhesion.

This part is printed at .35 infill, the default setting in pronterface/sfact. Solidworks says it is 1.59 cubic inches. My digital scale says it is .05 pounds.

This is exactly how this part came off the printer. There was no cleanup. This is by far the best print I have ever achieved.
